Over the last 18 years I have worked in many different aspects of Real Estate including apartment and commercial property management, transitioning into the residential resale arena which led to being in a support role and my love of the entire transaction process. As a liaison between agents, clients, settlement companies, and mortgage brokers it takes someone who understands all the intricate moving parts to a real estate transaction. Many people can perform clerical duties however, using my extensive contract knowledge along with my impeccable attention to detail, and my commitment to outstanding service, you can take pride in knowing that I am providing an excellent experience every step of the way and that will reflect positively on YOU as a Real Estate Professional, and on me as a part of your team!

Originally from New Bern, North Carolina, I joined the United States Navy and traveled all over the US and Hawaii finally landing in Virginia Beach in 2000. I fell in love with Hampton Roads and made it "home" where I currently reside with my husband, three out of four of our boys (the 4th lives in TN - Go Vols), and our two chihuahuas. A few of my favorite things: the color pink, Diet Dr. Pepper, coming up with home decor projects to torture my husband, nurturing my 30+ houseplants, reading a great book, spending time near the water or in the woods/nature, and hanging out with my favorite travel partner, my better half, usually on a gorgeous golf course not so quietly cheering him on.

  • Review all ratified contract documents for compliance.
  • Send a copy of the contract and an intro email to Buyers, Settlement Agent, Mortgage Broker, and LA.
  • Keep track of deadlines per the contract and send email reminders.
  • Upload all disclosures, contract documents and addenda to Brokerage platform or preferred communication with Office Admin.
  • Work with Lender & Settlement Agents to ensure all requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Additional Services provided - Call for a consult.

  • Draft listing documents for agent review & electronic signatures.
  • Coordinate/Schedule prelisting activities.
  • Review listing in MLS for errors/compliance and email Agent/Office Admin if corrections are needed.
  • Review all ratified contract documents for compliance.
  • Send a copy of the contract and an intro email to Sellers, Settlement Agent, Mortgage Broker, and CoBro.
  • Keep track of deadlines per the contract and send email reminders.
  • Upload all disclosures, contract documents and addenda to Brokerage platform.
  • Work with Lender & Settlement Agents to ensure all requirements are met in a timely manner.

Agent Responsibilities


  • Constant Communication with TC.
  • Reviewing all correspondence that they are copied on.
  • Obtain any quotes for work needed.
  • Schedule inspections as needed.
  • Negotiations - including repairs, price changes, appraisal shortfalls, closing date changes, or delays.
  • Notify ALL parties immediately should the transaction cancel or terminate.
  • Advise clients on all major decisions, contractual obligations and delays or changes to original offer/timeline.
  • Review Commission Statement and CD/ALTA/HUD for accuracy.
  • Pay for services within 7 days of closing.
